What we can help with
You do not need a finished proposal to contribute. Just About Everyone can help you sharpen a question, find existing evidence and explore how an idea might work in different places.
We can work with contributors on interviews, surveys, evidence reviews and new participatory and AI-assisted approaches. Research can involve our membership and reach further, especially to people whose experiences are often missing from the debate. We agree the scope and approach together, according to the people and capacity available.
Participation shapes the work
You can observe, offer skills, bring an idea or help research someone else’s. Verified members can comment, create research questions, answer them and upvote ideas they want to explore.
Like contributing to a Wikipedia page, participation should make the collective work richer. A collaboratively edited space and shared editorial stewardship are ambitions we want contributors to help develop.
Evidence, relationships and openness
We welcome disagreement and evidence that changes our minds. Contributors should help choose research questions, interpret findings and communicate what they learn. We distinguish open feedback from representative research and explain the limits of each.
Our work is independent of political parties and open to people across countries. Our shared values guide the work; no country or institution has exclusive authority to define a better future.
How we began
Just About Everyone intentionally has no public figurehead. Its founder remains anonymous so that attention stays on the ideas and the people who develop them together. The project is currently maintained by its initiator, with shared stewardship to be developed as participation grows.
